Shape Worksheets

Description

These Shape Worksheets give you activities to help your students learn the basic and geometric two-dimensional shapes found in our Shapes Flashcards Set.

These exercises are not very conversational. To get some speaking practice, have students work in pairs or small groups to complete these activities.

If you want to stick with the easier shapes and avoid all multi-sided geometry, you can! The easier, Group 1 words and the harder, Group 2 words appear on a separate worksheets.

18 Shape Worksheets

4 LABELLING WORKSHEETS: Students write the name of the shape under its picture. For each set, the only difference between worksheets 1 and 2 is colour.

• Worksheets A1 & A2 – Group 1 words
• Worksheets B1 & B2 – Group 2 words

3 LISTING WORKSHEETS: List items in the class (or anywhere) that have each shape. For example, circle: cookie, pizza, coin, button… 6 different shapes per page. Students can write or draw their answer.

4 MATCHING WORKSHEETS: Draw a line from the word to the matching shape.

4 MATCH THE SHAPES WORKSHEETS: No reading at all– students connect two pictures of the same shape.

3 WORD SCRAMBLE WORKSHEETS: Unscramble the letters and spell the shapes.
