Package #4 contains simple activities for learning vocabulary: labelling exercises, matching exercises, label and match hybrid worksheets for studying opposites, as well as word scramble puzzles which are always fun for practising spelling.

This package contains fewer conversational worksheets than Packages 1, 2 and 3.

Animals 1-10 and Numbers 1-10 are intended for very young learners and do not contain conversation worksheets. Counting the animals and bears will be fun enough!

Likewise, the Shapes and Opposite Adjectives worksheets are heavy on matching and labelling activities. Analogue Time worksheets are focused on learning how to read clocks, but interactive time-related activities with question-prompts are found in the Digital Time surveys and Find Someone Who… game.

The Colours, Adjectives, Emotions and Digital Time sets have listing worksheets that will allow students to use their descriptive powers on nouns of their choosing. They also contain surveys for interviewing classmates. Listing activities and surveys are great starting points for whole-class discussions.

Audience

These worksheets are generally suitable for beginner-level children and teenagers, although a few sets within the package work with younger or older students. Numbers and Animals 1-10, and some (but not all) of the Shapes worksheets are intended for kindergarten. Both of the Adjectives sets, Emotions Set 3 and some of the Colour and Time worksheets are suitable for teaching beginner-level adults as well children.

• simple present tense of the verbs ‘to be’, ‘to have’, ‘to like’
