There are worksheets suitable for multiple language levels in this set, ranging from simple present “Do you like…? “Â to more difficult “Have you ever…? “ questions. Within many of the worksheet types, the pages are divided into the word groups listed below, or at least with simpler and more challenging vocabulary divided onto separate pages.
Target Vocabulary
Group 1 – easier nouns

Communicative Activities
The exercises in these worksheets are completed in pairs or in small groups. Sorting and listing activities can be done solo first, but then followed up with conversation with a partner. Note that the surveys with fewer prompts have more space to add notes based on follow-up questions of the student’s own choosing (not prompted on the page).

Practice talking about Halloween experiences in the present perfect tense with the classic "Find someone who.." game. This worksheet has students asking nine different "Have you ever... ?" questions. Game 1 uses the positive form (ex. ___ has seen a real bat), Game 2 uses the negative form ( ___ has never... )

Two different worksheets with brainstorming activities. Worksheet 1 asks students to list the things you might find in six different Halloween scenarios (makeup kit, costume party, Dracula movie, etc.). Worksheet 2 asks for a list of things you would need to make six different costumes. Get creative!

Three different surveys. The basic YES/NO Halloween Surveys are based on a "Do you like...?" question with 7 vocabulary terms per page. The Halloween Plans Surveys ask "Are you going to...?" with 4 different activities per page. Finally, the Scary Rating surveys have students ask "Are you scared of...?" and then rate their partner's fear by marking pumpkins. Three different pages for each survey type.
