Description
Here are some worksheets to use with the three different emotion flashcard sets we have on the site:
- Set 1: Emotions Flashcards for Preschool
- Set 2: Emotions Flashcards for Children
- Set 3:Â Emotions Flashcards for Adults
Some of the vocabulary words overlap between these sets. You will find happy and sad in all three sets of flashcards and worksheets, for example.
The worksheets don’t match exactly the age group that the flashcard set would indicate. There are activities in Set 1 that require writing and reading skills above preschool level. Also, Set 3 cards and worksheets would be appropriate for beginner level teenagers as well as adults.
The image style will help you choose which set to use with your group.
Hope you feel happy about these 🙂

This activity asks students to list the things that make them feel, for example, happy or tired. Six separate emotion prompts per page. Set 3 also has a past tense version of this exercise (List a time you felt…) . Follow up with a small group or whole class discussion to find out who has similar feelings about things.

6 Surveys – Students ask a classmate a simple Yes/No question and then circle the answer. The activity can be expanded depending on the level of your students– there is extra space to jot additional notes from follow-up questions, level permitting. Set 2 also has an open-ended survey question.
