A set of 9 pictures of rooms in a house.

Clear

Description

Teach the words for places in a house.

Most of the pictures have a lot of detail. For older classes you can use these cards to elicit the names of the objects you see in each room. For younger classes you can teach only the name of the room.

Only one picture shows people, but you can also use these cards to talk about activities your family might do in each room: We cook in the kitchen. We watch TV in the living room. I study in my bedroom, etc.

There are two different cards for “bedroom”.

Hi! I’m an ESL techer in the South of Sapin. Would it be possible to make a set of flashcards for furniture? Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion! I will add furniture to my list of flashcards to make 🙂 I hope to make a few new sets in a month or two, sorry it can’t be sooner.

Hi! Thanks for such an opportunity to get wonderful material for teaching! I just wonder…what is there on the bathtub (on the right, near the curtain)? Can’t get it:(

    • Karen

The object on the bathtub ledge is a diving mask 🙂 It’s easier to see in the large card, but still a little ambiguous.
