Description
Here are some picture cards for practice reading prices in the hundreds (between 100 – 999). All prices are in dollars, with the $ symbol. Unlike the Prices under $100 set, the prices in this set do not have cents.
You can print the following options in small, medium, or large:
- Prices only
- Images with prices
- Images with spelling
- Images only
The first 9 images (page 1 of the small size set) are pieces of sports equipment, mostly recycled from the Sports Equipment Flashcards (set of 27). With the exception of the kayak, they all have a clipart illustration style.
The last 9 pictures (page 2 of the small set) don’t really have a theme, except maybe “expensive presents”. In addition to practising prices over $100, the collection might make nice set of prompts for conversations about shopping or gift-giving, for example: “What would you buy if you won $1000?” or “What would you rather receive as a present?”
The images in the second half of the set have a more “vector graphic” illustration style and might be more suitable for teaching adults than the clipart style images. Of course, that depends on your class 😉
Have fun!
