Description
Here are four word card sets for practice reading common contractions with the verbs: to be, to have, will and would.
Each set includes separate cards for the long forms and short forms, ex. I have and I’ve. You can play matching or memory games with each set individually or combined with other sets.
To make complete sentences, or to prompt for complete sentences, pair these cards with picture cards such as Emotions (+ to be) or Daily Activities (+ will).
The simple print font is clear and readable for young learners– a style they can emulate in handwriting practice (including the tidy apostrophe).
The border of each set is different colour for easy clean up.

Thank you! By the way the contraction verb “would” is saved as “will”.

Yikes! Thanks so much for telling me. I’ve corrected the mistaken links for small, medium and large “would” sets! A couple of the “will” sets were wrong, too. Thank you so so much for letting me know!!
