Description
Dolch sight words compile high-frequency words found in American children’s books.
Be aware that the main Dolch Sight Words lists 220 “service words”, that is, words such as articles, pronouns, prepositions, etc, which are common to all reading levels. The list of 95 nouns, however, are “content words” and therefore more specific to American culture and to the time period during which the list was created (1930s – 40s).
Here, we’ve divided the 95 Dolch Nouns into two sets, alphabetically:
Set 1 – words beginning with letters A to G.
Set 2 – words beginning with letters H to W.
